Pet insurance can be a great help when faced with veterinary bills, both expected and unexpected.
There are many companies that offer pet insurance, some of which when combined with your own personal health insurance will give great deals/discounts.
Be careful to read through the terms and conditions of any pet insurance plan to ensure you have adequate cover for your pet’s requirements.
Unlike a lot of human services, veterinary bills do still need to be paid upfront at the time of treatment and then a claim submitted to the insurance provider with evidence of payment.
If you have pet insurance and your pet has been treated at AHVEC, please let us know. To process your claim simply print out your relevant claim form, fill in the owner and pet details section, drop the form in to us and we will do the rest!
